Greater Cincinnati · I-275 loop and inside

Cameras, alarms, door access, video intercom, and network — installed in Greater Cincinnati.

Normal coverage is the I-275 loop itself and the area inside it. Outside that loop, call the shop and we will quote the trip. A certified technician evaluates the property and prepares the quote. There is no salesman. You own the hardware. There is no contract.

Security camera, Ajax alarm system, video intercom, and door access controller from TEK in Greater Cincinnati
What most cameras do The lot goes grey. After dark the picture flips to infrared. You get a shape. Clothing, cars, and faces drop out. What we install Night, almost like day. You can still describe what you see. Dark X and OwlView keep color after dark. Call the shop to schedule a property evaluation.

A camera is only useful if you can describe what it saw

Most of the cameras people buy flip to black and white when the sun drops. Infrared gives you a shape. You cannot say what color the car was, what the person was wearing, or whether you know the face. The cameras we install keep color after dark.

Color, after dark

Dark X is the Titanium line built for that picture, with human and vehicle detection. OwlView is the other night camera we use. Both are wired. A Wi-Fi porch camera is a different product. It shares the house network, and the picture goes with the Wi-Fi.

The video stays in the building

Power and video ride one cable back to a recorder. The recording sits on a surveillance drive there, not only in a cloud you rent. If the walls already have camera coax, we can stay on that cable instead of pulling a new one.

The plate is its own camera

Height, angle, and shutter are set for the plate. A camera on the porch, aimed down the driveway, will show the vehicle. It will not read the plate. That camera is specified separately when the gate or the lot requires it.

A light and a speaker are a warning

Some cameras speak when someone is at the door, and a light comes on. That can turn a person around. It does not replace a clear picture of who was standing there.

A count is a tool

On a shop or a lot, some recorders count people and vehicles and can draw a line across a doorway. Useful for knowing how busy the door was. It is a count. It is not a guard.

Placement is specified on site

A house, a shop, and a gate are not the same installation. Call (513) 345-0782. A technician evaluates each view and specifies the camera for it. Nothing is scheduled until you approve the quote.

A rented alarm You pay to keep it. The monthly contract is the product. Stop paying, and the service that watches the building stops with it.
What we install An alarm you own. Ajax. The app alerts you. The siren is in the building. Monitoring is only if you choose it.

The alarm stays yours when the month is over

The sensors talk on radio, so we are not pulling a wire to every door. The app is included. A door, motion, smoke, or leak sends the alert to your phone. Motion can send a burst of photos, including at night. When it trips, a siren sounds in the building — not only on a screen in another city.

Verified in both directions

Every message is encrypted both ways. The hub confirms that each sensor and fob belongs to the system, so a copy cannot disarm it. If the radio is jammed, it moves to a clear channel. If the entire band is jammed, it still reports the event. In open air, Ajax rates that radio at about 2,000 meters. Walls and floors reduce that range. A technician surveys the building and adds a range extender where the structure requires it.

Monitoring is a choice

Use the app only and you pay full price for the gear. No monitoring bill. Add monitoring and it is $44.95 a month. Twelve months paid at checkout is $539.40, and the Ajax equipment on that order is half off. While you stay monitored, the equipment and the batteries are replaced if something fails. Decline it and the gear is full price, with no monitoring.

The same system is white or black. Hub, contacts, motion, and fob. We do not call it done until we have seen the alert. Call (513) 345-0782 and a technician marks the doors, the rooms, and the keypad before anyone writes a number.

A doorbell You hear a chime. You still go to the door to identify the visitor. Staff still need a key. A guest waits outside, and that key cannot be revoked.
What we install You already know who it is. The screen shows their face. You talk. You unlock — from the wall or from the phone.

The door should know who belongs there

Akuvox is one system: the station outside, the screen on the wall, and the lock. You see the visitor, speak with them, and unlock the door without issuing a key you cannot revoke. Not every opening requires face recognition. A staff door may only need a reader. A technician surveys each opening and specifies the hardware.

Akuvox door intercom station

Outside

The station sees the visitor and places the call. Where that station has it, a face that is allowed in opens the door. Akuvox rates that recognition under half a second on the stations built for it.

Akuvox keypad reader

Who is allowed in

Staff tap a card or a fob, or type their own PIN. You add a person, or you take them off, without rekeying the building. A guest can get a code that works for the visit and then stops.

Akuvox indoor station

Answer it

The screen on the wall shows the camera, the talk button, and the unlock. The phone does the same job when you are not standing there. An exit button inside lets people leave without a credential.

Call (513) 345-0782 and tell us which doors. A technician picks the station, the reader, and the lock, and writes it down before anything is ordered.

A home router One box in the office. Dead spots in the back. Cameras sharing Wi-Fi with the phones. A second building with no path back.
What we install A network with a job. The switch powers the cameras. The access points cover the rooms. One Wi-Fi name. No monthly software fee.

Cameras stay on cable. Phones stay on Wi-Fi.

Lysora is what we install for that. A PoE switch sends power and data on the same cable, so the cameras are on a wire, not on the wireless. You set the Wi-Fi name and the password in a phone app. Every access point uses that same name, so a person walks the building without joining a new network in each room. There is no monthly software fee and no controller box to buy.

Lysora 8-port PoE switch

One cable, power and picture

The small switch has eight powered ports and a 120 watt budget. Larger closets go to 16, 24, or 48. If a camera stops answering, that port can restart itself, and you can reboot a port from the phone.

Lysora Wi-Fi 7 ceiling access point

Counted on site, not from a guess

One ceiling point can cover a typical house or a small shop if it sits high and near the middle. A warehouse or a long hall needs more. Our largest indoor Wi-Fi 7 point lists about 1,500 square feet in the open. Walls and metal shorten that. The lot gets a weather-sealed outdoor point.

Lysora wireless bridge

Only with a clear path

A wireless bridge aims from one roof to the other when a cable between buildings is not happening. The kit we stock lists up to about 3 miles on a clear path. A tree, a roof edge, or a bad aim takes that to nothing. We say so before we sell it.

Ports are labeled — front camera, not port 4. The project is shared with you, so you can see what is online after the installation. Call (513) 345-0782. A technician surveys the building before any access point is specified.

Call (513) 345-0782

The cable belongs inside the wall.

A camera on the corner is wasted if the wire is stapled down the siding. We fish cable through finished walls — attic, crawlspace, or a small opening behind the device — and the room does not grow a plastic raceway. TV mounting is the same standard. The screen goes up. The wire does not hang. TEK is a licensed electrical company, so the crew that programs the recorder can also land the power.

One pull, then we test

The path is chosen on the walk. A missed path means another hole and another trip. Doing it once is what keeps the trim looking the way we found it.

What the finished job looks like

These are installs, not catalog shots. A turret under the trim. A door station on the frame. A keypad beside the glass. A head-end with the recorder, the Ajax panel, and the network cabinet on one wall. The panel is line-voltage work — call for availability.

Two ways to get the system

Same cameras, same alarm, same doors. A technician handles it either way. There is no salesman in the middle.

Lifetime warranty and the maintenance plan

Two parts of one plan. Covered gear is replaced, and we install it. We are the only company that includes the parts and the labor. Ask the shop for the monthly price — it is not a formula we publish. Warranty page · Lifetime replacement on the store · Maintenance plan on the store

01

The plan

While you stay enrolled: the replacement, the labor to put it in, shipping, batteries, a yearly remote inspection, firmware updates, and an upgrade when the system is outdated. Storm, fire, flood, and lightning are covered. Cancel anytime and the extra coverage ends. You still own the gear.

02

Factory warranty

Included with the gear. 3 years on CCTV cameras and recorders. 2 years on other equipment. If a unit goes back to the manufacturer, you pay shipping both ways. It does not include batteries, act-of-God damage, or a technician coming out.

Different promise
03

Ajax is separate

Monitoring is $44.95 a month, or $539.40 for twelve months at checkout. That price takes 50% off the Ajax gear. Electrical workmanship is 10 years, and it is not the camera plan.

The mission

Install the technology that fits the building. Bring the experience to do it right. Leave the knowledge, and the hardware, with you.

That is the name on the door. Technology. Experience. Knowledge. Rick reviews the estimate. He is IBEW-trained, with more than 15 years installing security for national companies. That is 30-plus years in the trade. It is not a claim that this Montgomery shop has been a Cincinnati company under this name since 1998. The work in this market goes back that far. About the shop
