Door access control

Pick the way that fits the person.

Not every opening needs a face camera. The reader we spec is the one that door needs.

Their face

TEK On the stations built for it, the door opens when it sees a face that is allowed in. Akuvox rates that recognition under half a second.

A card or a fob

TEK Staff and residents tap a card or a fob. You add a person, or you take them off, without rekeying the building.

A code

TEK Each person can have their own PIN. A shared code is there when a whole office needs one.

A guest who leaves

TEK A temporary key or a temporary code works for the visit, then it stops. You do not hand out a key you cannot get back.

You own the door system. No contract.

Quick answers

What is door access control?

Who is allowed in. The lock and the reader. A face, a card, a fob, or a PIN. You add a person or take them off without rekeying the building. A guest can get a temporary key or a temporary code that stops when the visit is over.

How do people get in?

A face, a card, a code, or the app. A guest can get a temporary key or a temporary code that stops when the visit is over. Not every door needs every method.

Can I install it myself?

Yes. Shop a kit we program, test, and label before it ships. Or we quote the install if you want TEK on site. We can also help find a local handyman.

Who writes the quote?

A technician. There is no salesman on the call. Call (513) 345-0782. Normal coverage is the I-275 loop and the area inside it. Outside the loop, call for a quote.

Akuvox is the door access line TEK installs. Face recognition speed is Akuvox’s rating on the stations built for it. A technician chooses the reader for each door. Seeing the visitor and talking is the video intercom. Prices stay on the store.
